The Bonfires of Beltane: Following St. Patrick Across Ancient, Celtic Ireland
It’s A.D. 432, and young Taran dares to question the druids who hold sway over his remote island.
When he objects to their long-established custom of child sacrifice, he is forced to leave Laurna, his beloved, and he is banished to the sea. After he lands in ancient, Celtic Ireland, he meets Patrick, who is about to evangelize that ancient land ruled by powerful kings, ancient traditions, and the druids’ spiritual darkness.
But as the years pass, Taran longs to return home to his people and his beloved Laurna.
