Initial Cover for Into The Druid’s Lair

My cover artist just sent me the first mock-up for the front cover of Into The Druid’s Lair, the second book in my epic high fantasy series, The Scepter and Tower Trilogy.

The book’s short description:

When the arch druid’s armies advance on the Company’s high mountain refuge, Tristan, still posing as Prince Neil, leads his companions to escape and seek Elyon’s second great gift to the world. But their trek plunges them into the heart of enemy territory, into the lair of the arch druid and the spirit of darkness, the Deamhan Lord himself.

Here’s the cover:

I’m asking him to enlarge the title a bit. Right now, I’m thinking to release the book in the last week of May.

Mark E. Fisher

Mark wrote his first twelve pages at the age of ten, complete with drawings of a prairie fire, Indians, and a stampede. More recently he’s been writing Christian historical fiction in an early medieval setting. THE BONFIRES OF BELTANE is his novel set in ancient, Celtic Ireland, to be released June 20 with St. Patrick as a main character. His writing career only began in earnest after his baptism into Christianity, after twenty-eight years working for IBM as a computer programmer, and after completing a Masters of Ministry. Mark and his wife like to travel, with recent trips to Japan, Ireland, Italy, and France. When he’s not working for the church he helped plant in 2012, he’s walking his dog or at his desk writing.
